Assault In Ulverston

Police are investigating an incident which took place in the York Square area of Ulverston at approximately 5am on 9th June.

Police were called to the area following a report of a male with a machete threatening a group of young males in the alleyway.

Officers are seeking to identify and speak to any of the males who were threatened or anyone who may have witnessed this incident.

A 45-year-old man from Ulverston was arrested on suspicion of affray. He has subsequently been released under investigation.

Assault in Carlisle

Police are investigating an assault which has occurred on Sunday 27th May at approximately 04:00 hours at the Taxi Rank on English Street, Carlisle.

The suspect has been described as a white male, approximately 5ft 10 to 5ft 11, slim build, dark brown short hair and was wearing a white polo shirt with black stripes on it.

The victim, a male in his 30s, suffered minor injuries.

Criminal damage in Millom

Police are investigating an incident of criminal damage which occurred at the Barbeque shop on Crown Street in Millom.

Windows to the store were damaged by unknown offenders.

Damage to vehicles in Workington

Police are investigating damage caused to two vehicles parked overnight on Corporation Road in Workington.

The incident occurred in the early hours this morning (11th June). The offender has approached two parked vehicles at approximately 1.55am and caused damage to a number of tyres by slashing them.

The offender was wearing a rain-type jacket with the hood fully up
